What comes with the iPod?
You get exactly the same accessories in the box as you would if you purchased the iPod from your local electronics store. Here is a list of the contents:
1) Brand new iPod nano (5th generation, newest model with video capture feature)
2) Earphones
3) USB 2.0 cable
4) Dock adapter
5) Quick start quide
6) Pre-loaded audio lectures in mp3 format

What about a power cord? You can charge the iPod's battery by connecting the iPod to your computer using the USB cable. A standard AC power adapter can also be purchased from your local electronics store.

What is the return policy for the pre-loaded iPods?
Once opened, refunds will only be issued on iPods if they are returned within 14 days of receipt. Pre-loaded lectures will not be refunded if the iPod packaging has been opened. All shipping costs will not be refunded. Defective iPods can be returned or exchanged within 10 days of reciept or exchanged only within 30 days of receipt. Shipping costs for defective iPods will be our responsibilty but it will be your responsibility to send the defective iPod back to us in its original box and packaging. We will reimburse you for the cost of shipping.

Are the pre-loaded lectures in audio or video format?
Audio only (mp3 files)

Why do some iPods have two people's lectures pre-loaded onto it? I only want one!
We cannot sell iPods pre-loaded with only 9 or 10 lectures because the revenue would not be sufficient. Therefore we've combined speakers with fewer talks together on a single iPod. If you are not satisfied with the combination, you can customize the titles pre-loaded onto the iPod by going to this page. Keep in mind that the minimum number of titles for any pre-loaded iPod that is customized is 20.

Are the titles organized inside the iPod?
Absolutely! All titles are organized into albums with complete titles, speaker names, cover images and all chapters are conveniently organized in their correct sequence.

Are the iPods compatible with PC or Mac?
Both! You choose which format you want after you add the iPod to your shopping cart.

What color is the iPod?
iPod Nano - You choose which color you want when you add the iPod to your shopping cart. Several standard colors are available: black, silver, green, blue, purple, orange and pink. Red or Gold iPod nanos are special orders that will require extra time until shipped (up to 2 weeks) and will cost an extra $12.

iPod Classic - You can choose between black and silver.

iPod Touch (iTouch) - Black only.

Can I buy an empty iPod with no pre-loaded lectures on it?
No.

Is the iPod brand new? What generation is it?
Yes, the iPod is a brand new 5th generation nano, the newest model with video capture feature.

Do you sell a pre-loaded iPod Video or iPhone?
No.

Do you sell a pre-loaded Zune, SanDisk or other player besides iPod?
No.

What software is required to use the pre-loaded iPod?
The iPod will be ready to use straight out of the box. However, if you desire to transfer the audio files to your computer to back them up and organize them you will need Apple iTunes, which is available as a free download by clicking here. iTunes is compatible with both PC and Mac.

Can I apply coupons to the pre-loaded iPods?
No.

Can I add a personal engraving to the pre-loaded iPod?
No.

How much empty space remains on the iPod after the lectures are loaded?
It depends on which iPod you buy. Generally speaking, one lecture takes up about 125 MB (megabytes). 1000 MB = 1 GB.

After I buy the pre-loaded iPod, can I add more lectures to it?
Yes. Simply go to Islam On Demand and you can download many individual titles using iTunes. You can then easily transfer the downloaded titles from iTunes to your iPod.

If I lose my pre-loaded iPod or it malfunctions, will I lose all of my lectures?
No, if you transfer the lectures to your computer beforehand or back-up the iPod using iTunes. This process is very easy. Consult the iPod manual for more details. If you didn't back up your files beforehand, just give us a call and we'll work with you to restore your lost lectures.

Can I burn the pre-loaded lectures onto an audio CD?
Yes. First you must transfer the lectures to your iTunes player. Then within iTunes, you can easily burn each lecture to an audio CD. Consult the iTunes support page for more details.

The website states that there are Bonus Lectures that come with certain DVDs. Are these included with the pre-loaded iPods as well?
No.
